Event Description
Activity – Come and have some fun doing some archery and axe throwing.
PLEASE NOTE PARENTS/CARERS ARE FOR ASSISTANCE ONLY AND WILL NOT BE PARTICIPATING.
THIS IS A FREE SCHOOL MEALS ACTIVITY HOWEVER LUNCH IS INCLUDED FOR EVERYONE. Please don’t forget to add your free school meals code and food choice.
Time – 1pm to 3pm. Lunch is at 12 noon so please arrive then so you can have lunch before the activity.
Open To –Disabled children, disabled young adults, and siblings.
Meeting Point – At the venue.
Venue – Porthpean Outdoors, Porthpean, St Austell PL26 6AZ
Accessibility – The venue is relatively flat with plenty of hard surfacing. There is an on site accessible toilet and shower block.
Weather – This will only be cancelled in extreme weather however do look on our Facebook page on the day or check your emails if you are not sure.
Parking – There is free parking at the venue.
Food and Drink – There is an on site tuck shop selling drinks and snacks. LUNCH IS INCLUDED FOR EVERYONE.
Lunch Options –
A ham, cheese, houmous or tuna baguette with a snack, fruit and crisps.
Other Information – If any problems arise, they should be brought to the attention of the sessional worker who can escalate it to the manager/trustee’s if necessary.
Cancellation – If you need to cancel your place BEFORE THE DAY, please email info@caapuk.co.uk If you need to cancel your place ON THE DAY, please text the caap mobile phone. This information will be given out nearer the time. In certain circumstances if tickets have already been bought you will need to pay for cancelled places unless we can fill them. We cannot always offer a refund.
IF YOU DO NOT TURN UP ON THE DAY AND DO NOT LET US KNOW WE WILL NEED TO CHARGE YOU THE FULL COST OF THE WASTED PLACE(S) (note the full cost is often much higher than the subsidised cost).
Health and Safety – All children and young people need to be accompanied by an adult carer. Please do not expect our sessional worker to look after your child / young person. You must stay with your child(ren) throughout the session.
Photographs – If you have previously told us that you do not want pictures of your child/young person to be used on our closed or public Facebook pages please ensure you let the sessional worker know upon arrival.
Please also respect the privacy of all our members by not posting on your personal social media photos that contain the images of children not yours.
