The Lost Gardens of Heligan

Enjoy a day out at the largest garden restoration in Europe.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU FILL IN THE DROP-DOWN FORM FOR THE LUNCH OPTION WHEN YOU HAVE SELECTED THE RELEVENT TICKETS. YOU MUST ALSO SUPPLY YOUR FREE SCHOOL MEALS CODE.

Time – Arrive between 10am and 12 noon

Open to – Disabled Children, disabled young adults, siblings, and family. One carer free per disabled child or disabled young adult.

Meeting Point – Meet the sessional worker at the entrance, who will tick you off the list and give you a caap sticker to gain entry.

Accessibility – The venue is wheelchair accessible and has full changing places facilities however there is some terrain that is not suitable for mobility scooters or wheelchairs.

Clothing – Dress appropriately for an outside activity and the weather conditions. Good sturdy shoes are recommended.

Weather – This will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions. Keep an eye on emails and the caap Facebook page for any updates.

Parking – There is plenty of free parking at the venue. However, if full you will be directed to the neighbouring field which is at a charge of £3.50 payable on exit.

Food and Drink – Take a picnic or there is Heligan Kitchen, Stewards House, Meadow Kitchen all available for food and drink.

Lunch Options for FSM –

Sausage Roll box

Ham or Cheese Sandwich Box with a cookie, crisps and a drink.

Other Information – If any problems arise, they should be brought to the attention of the sessional worker who can escalate it to the manager/trustee’s if necessary.

Cancellation – If you need to cancel your place BEFORE THE DAY, please email info@caapuk.co.uk  If you need to cancel your place ON THE DAY, please text the caap mobile phone. This information will be given out nearer the time. In certain circumstances if tickets have already been bought you will need to pay for cancelled places unless we can fill them. We cannot always offer a refund.

IF YOU DO NOT TURN UP ON THE DAY AND DO NOT LET US KNOW WE WILL NEED TO CHARGE YOU THE FULL COST OF THE WASTED PLACE(S) (note the full cost is often much higher than the subsidised cost).

Health and Safety – All children and young people need to be accompanied by an adult carer. Please do not expect our sessional worker to look after your child / young person. You must stay with your child(ren) throughout the session.

Photographs – If you have previously told us that you do not want pictures of your child/young person to be used on our closed or public facebook pages please ensure you let the sessional worker know upon arrival.
Please also respect the privacy of all our members by not posting on your personal social media photos that contain the images of children not yours.
